Celebrating the Cycle Queens for Black History Month

I am posting these pictures as a prelude to my interview with one of the only Cycle Queens Black Female Motorcycle Club that’s left. The Cycle Queens were one of the first all black female riders in the country. They were out of the D.C., Maryland and Virginia area. These women were trailblazers that paved the way for women like myself to ride today. They not only handled racism from white riders but also from our black male riders too. I am excited to have found one of their members still alive to tell her story. Stay tuned folks!

Black female bikers with daughters…listen to ALEXYSS

THIS IS FOR ALL MY BLACK FEMALE BIKERS WITH DAUGHTERS:
I will begin by stating this video is a bit vulgar, hard and raw. I identified with ALEXYSS and if you are offended by the language I’ll apologize upfront for that but not for the truth that came from the intent.

If you can get through the language and find your truths in it then it was worth me disturbing your complacency black biker mothers. Let your conscience be your guide.

Black Harley Riders & Black Harley Motorcycle Clubs in Los Angeles

The best thing about this video is that it shows how black bikers like to have fun and fellowship. Black Motorcycle Clubs in Los Angeles have evolved into a very strong Harley Davidson Motorcycle Riders. That’s is where the shirts you see that say,“Black Harley Riders” were created. I am very proud to be a black female rider because the richness of the Black Motorcycle Community is irreplaceable. Iron Sharpens Iron…Steel!
